Belajar Demokrasi, Begini Pemilihan Ketua OSIS di SMA Negeri Rambipuji

 

SMANRAMBIPUJI.SCH.ID – Ratusan pelajar di SMA Negeri 1 Rambipuji, Kabupaten Jember, Kamis (27/8/2018) berkumpul di halaman sekolah untuk melaksanakan pemilihan ketua OSIS periode 2018 – 2019.

Pelaksanaan itu menyusul pengurus OSIS periode 2017 – 2018 telah habis. Selain ratusan pelajar, yang ikut memeriahkan pesta demokrasi tersebut guru dan staf SMA Negeri Rambipuji. Kegiatan ini, sekaligus sebagai bentuk memberikan pendidikan politik kepada ratusan pelajar tersebut.

“Ini sekaligus pendidikan dini dalam sistem pemilihan umum, yang biasa di selenggarakan di suatu daerah dalam memilih pemimpin. Kami dari pihak sekolah berharap, agar pelajar nanti siap ketika terjun ke masyarakat,” kata Kepala SMA Negeri Rambipuji.

Pendidikan politik diberikan kepada pelajar tersebut sangat penting sebagai bekal mereka. Sehingga mereka bisa berpartisipasi aktif dan tidak golput ketika mengikuti pemilu di lingkungan masyarakat.
